When we’re busy, it’s easy to let our days get away from us. Suddenly, our time is filled up and we don’t have any time for the things that matter most.

Balance is key. as a remote worker, finding a balance between work and life can be difficult. but it’s important to make time for the things you enjoy–even if they seem like a luxury. here are some tips for finding joy in simple things and making time for yourself

1. Long Term Vs Short Term


If you want to reduce stress, some of your time should be allocated for a ‘mini-vacation’ — but this should not detract from your long term life goals.

For example, when you finish work you should relax and enjoy your time away from your job – but this means you’re experiencing a ‘long-term’ stress ‘break’ and replacing it with a ‘short-term’ (vacation).

Set goals for balance that will benefit you and your career in the long run. Otherwise, you’ll just feel like you can’t get off your work face — which will result in burnout.

2. Are You Living and Working vs. Working and Living?

The key difference between the two is that your work season is dedicated to interacting with people. It’s involving with others; while working and living are in a feeling of few connection. Those who are leading a hectic schedule, find it harder to navigate the pros and cons of working and living.

The author suggests balancing the conceivable options to keep alive vitality and time, and adhering to things that you appreciate and understand so you won’t get totally unrewarding.

For example, if you have some other mindset and forgiving time, try to upkeep a really affectionate relationship (experimental love) or check out an engaging activity when you pad back from work—and devour the local community. Partnerships are another way to achieve balance – both as a work companion and encourager, and someone to kick your motivation.

There are two contingent ways to keep your consistency. You can do either of them, whichever you cherish. However, you try not to delegate by indulging in one for the other, since you’ll have less impressions to manage.

3. The Secret of “Perfect Balance”

‘Perfect balance’ is the goal for the remaining of your life. You have to manage two different instruments and activities, work life and private live. Finding balance is difficult, as you are demand by two different things that you have to achieve, but you can.

4. What Is Your Personal Work / Life Balance?

You should graduate from school by the time you’re done with college thus probably working the most. I feel like this encourages a certain level of guess work as to why it should be done when your first reaction is a run for the bed.

Ultimately I would say to pick projects that are interesting to you. The work should ideally be enjoyable and personally expose you to new people, new ideas, etc…Something that you have at least a working knowledge of. On the other hand asking for too much work to do can be a pretty positive thing. If your boss tells you to fix a task at a presentation and you find yourself scrambling through without a clue as to where to start, that can be a great learning curve. Whether this should be your approach, on the other hand, depends on several things including your personality and work ethic.

Most personal finance bloggers I know are spread a bit thin. One bad month and things can change quickly. A job that helps cut your work hours in half– YIKES!! Now you have had to make cuts in your commitments to family, friendships, your blog.

Balance isn’t usually a hard balance, it’s about making choices to work for yourself and your life.

The lifestyle will depend on how much disposable income you have.

5. Reboot and Plan Work, Personal and Household Life

I’ve been asked this question over and over again. Maybe it’s because my life right now is a tightly controlled rush from work to home and barely a moment in between. Or, maybe my perfectionist self thinks I shouldn’t be thinking of the future when I’m living such a full and work-filled life right now. Or maybe I just feel guilty when I think about how much time I spend on something that’s not a priority like learning how to cook or a school project that’s mostly in my head.

Perhaps this is why me and Corey often get sent photos of epic epic days playing sports or having fun when we are a world choreographed to our days—the achievements we have reached not really synced up well with what’s really happening. So yeah, since we don’t live in that angsty life, I don’t know how they feel.

We’ve made the decision that we’re happy to ignore all the plans and dreams on the side because we have our kids, we love our city and our family, and life is pretty awesome right now. Sure there’s time in the future to figure out some bigger dreams, but for now all we think about is remembering what it feels like on a Sunday morning when the adults take the younger kids so that the older ones can be free to discuss their G-file.

6. Rewiring Your Inner Circle (Your Love, Your Family, What You Value)

Now this is a tough one.

Finding balance means finding the right balance—and so to make time for myself, I was required to first figure out exactly what showed value to me personally and what I loved.

I believe art and photography were both made to see and create beauty—for my eye, these were two of my favorite forms of artistic expression, and in fact, the stamps I get every month are just of artistic photographs.

My answer wasn’t arbitrary as much as it was based on the things I love so much and really appreciate in myself.

7. “Re-Balancing” Your Events

Balance is achieved when every area in your life is in perfect harmony, not just for a very short period of time.

And as a remote worker, you’ve got to learn how to be re-balancing your work and your life, if you want to feel satisfied at the end of the day.

So what does it mean to “balance work and life?”

There are many assumptions people may have about being a remote worker that just don’t quite ring true—you’re a creative soul working from a cozy apartment, perhaps, or an introvert who’s always boarding. All that is true if that’s what you want.

But there’s also something to be said for the freedom of a solo lifestyle. hours of autonomy, and the ability to make real, honest-to-goodness progress. especially with regards to your personal wellbeing and your overall happiness. If you’ve ever built up the excuse that you work too hard, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that you’re full of crap.

Once you get over a lot of preconceived notions about it, love what you do, and take pride in your work, then starting a solo lifestyle doesn’t really sound like such an issue. Plus, it can be a double-edged sword.

In this day and age, it’s easy to get bogged down by the many things we have to do. We’re constantly told that we need to do this and that in order to have a successful life, but it’s not always easy to say yes to the things that matter most.

But what if there was a way to simplify your life and make it more sustainable? What if you could say yes to the things that bring real joy into your life?

In this article, we’ll discuss how you can simplify your life and make more time for the things that matter most. We’ll also provide some tips on how you can live more sustainably and frugally.

What is balance?

There are a lot of ways to define balance, but I think the most important thing to remember is that balance isn’t about making sure that everything we do is equally important.

Consciously or unconsciously, we tend to think that if we aren’t working, we’re not doing anything of importance.

For me, it means being able to work hard and focus on my goals without feeling like I’m neglecting myself. It’s being able to set boundaries and make choices about what I do and don’t do. It’s making sure that I prioritize my time and make sure that I’m not ignoring my personal life.

Balancing work and life is about living a good life, and being able to handle all of the different situations and challenges that arise in life.

It’s about being able to see that being a remote worker is something that can be done, and that it’s not something that’s always going to be a struggle.

It’s about being able to say yes to the things that matter most to you.

I used to sit around and think about all the things I wanted to do and all the things I didn’t have time for.

But now, I think about the things that really matter to me and how I can best balance my life and my work.

There are large parts of my life that I’m really excited about, and I want to make sure I don’t fall into a pattern of minimizing them.

I want to define what balance means to me and how I can achieve it.

I want to look back at the end of my life and say:

“I’ve done all the things I’ve wanted to do, and I’ve lived my life the way I wanted to live it.”


One thing that really helped me to find that balance was to intentionally re-wire my life and find things that I love.

It might be something as simple as an evening walk.

It might be taking a cooking class.

It might be volunteering at an animal shelter.

It might even be something as simple as making an effort to spend time with the people I love.

The thing is, you don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars to find balance.

There are plenty of things that we can do to find some balance in our lives.

And the thing is, it doesn’t have to be expensive.

So how can I find balance?

There is no “one size fits all” way to find balance.

It’s about finding what works for you, and it’s about making choices that work for you.

I like to start the day by creating a plan for the day and making sure that all the things I have to do are taken care of.

Then, I’ll make sure to take some time to say yes to things that matter to me.

I’ll take a ride on my bike, I’ll visit friends, I’ll have a good dinner, and I’ll spend time just relaxing.

I like to structure my days so that I’m not always in a hurry.

It gives me a chance to be present and to think about what I’m doing. I love setting goals for the day, but I also love taking it easy.

It’s something that I’ve been learning to value more and more.

There are a lot of different ways to structure your days, and depending on the things that you value most, you’ll find something that works.

The point of balance is to make sure that you’re not always in a hurry.


9. live flexibly

If you’re always in a hurry, then you’re never going to be able to find balance.

To find balance, you need to make sure that you’re not always in a hurry.

This means that you need to make sure that you’re free to be spontaneous.

And if you find that you’re not free to be spontaneous, then you need to make sure that you’re not in a hurry to do things.

In other words, you need to stop being so rigid and rigid.


In my life, this means that I’m happy to go to the beach on the weekend if I want to, and I’m happy to cook for myself if I want to.

These are both things that I love to do, but I also love to do other things.


I love to dress up and take a walk around the city, and I also love to take cooking classes.

It’s about finding something that works for you.

And the good news is, you don’t have to spend a lot of money to find balance.

Making a decision to slow down is something that’s going to be really important as you find balance in your life.

It’s something that I’ve been working on a lot lately, and it’s something that I think is really important.

And since I’ve been working on it, it’s something that I’ve been able to live with.


The reality is, we’re all in a constant state of change, and for that reason, we must constantly make choices about what we value and what we do.
